I’m slowly starting to understand the meaning of Hazel’s different cries.
There’s the slow whimper which means she’s hungry. Then the more plaintiff cry which means she’d like to be fed. Then there’s the louder more insistent wail which is a sign she’d like to be fed sooner rather than later. And of course the gasping for breath between shrieks which translates into “Hello, Is anyone going to feed me NOW?”
Pretty much any cry she makes is a sign she’s hungry.
She’s definitely my daughter.
