It’s done.
Aline and I put the condo up for sale on Monday September 11 and by Tuesday night we were entertaining a fair offer. By 10PM, the condo was conditionally sold. Over the past few weeks the conditions were met and the sale closed on Friday October 6.
I’m gonna miss the place. Lots of good memories. Barbeques in the backyard. Trying not to annoy the neighbors with the piano. Dinner parties. Movie get-togethers. Huddling around the television during playoffs. Falling asleep beside the heat of the fireplace in winter. Checking on the tomato plants this past summer. The feel of the blue carpet downstairs. The short walk to work. I’ll miss it all.
And I’ll start making new memories in Blackburn Hamlet.
