The Savoy Society of Ottawa is going to be performing The Pirates of Penzance in April 2008 and I’ve got an itch to be a Pirate. So I auditioned this morning. Was second person in line to audition and sang ‘Any Dream Will Do’ followed by a mercifully short dance routine. Think it went well and have high hopes I’ll be practising Pirate drawl soon!
