You’d think that in 15 years of owning a canoe I might have entered a canoe race by now.
You’d be wrong.
Until this year when we braved the weather and tested our luck at the Jock River Canoe Race this April in the family division. Over 100 canoeists participated and many were prepared with race attire and gear so we were a little out of place with our canoe.
This year’s race had been already been postponed two weeks because of melting ice on the Jock River
