Aline and I often enjoy listening to CBC’s radio program GO! on Saturday mornings and I’ve tried unsuccessfully in the past to get tickets to be in the live studio audience when the show is in Ottawa.
This Saturday May 27th we got lucky.
Playing off the fact that it was Ottawa Race Weekend, host Brent Bambury – who is not a marathoner – dragged himself out of bed to go back to bed as this week’s program was produced live from a queen-sized bed in the Ottawa City Council chambers. It was a really neat experience. Lots of wit and camraderie on the set. Definitely worth coming out to again. And hopefully next time it won’t conflict with the Great Glebe Garage Sale!
