Hazel’s first birthday. It’s a very good thing we ate the green frog cake outside on the porch.
Astroboy Matt was in town for a week attending his grandfather’s funeral. He brought Ethan along and they came to visit us for dinner. While a romantic candlelight dinner for two was discussed, we figured flashlights were probably a safer bet for Hazel’s first European date.
Everyone knows Sleeping Beauty has to be woken with a kiss, except Prince Charming. Every time the fairies watching over her try to tell him, he interrupts with his ideas of how to wake her. Eventually he gets the message, and his reaction is priceless: ?One hundred years of morning breath Wow! That could be the kiss of death!?
My take: This prince is a little slow when it comes to smooching. Fast forward 15 years. That’s not such a bad thing.
