Surprise surprise.
Head of IT at work set an 11:30 global conference call to announce the news that 11 people in the department were being laid off, and a host of IT functions would be outsourced to India over the next two months. No affect on our operations in Canada yet but boy would I love to see the difference between the anticipated cost savings of this move versus the reality next year.
