Ever since I took her to the Canada-Kazakhstan World Junior hockey game, Hazel has seemed very interested in the Canadian national anthem. So I’ve started singing it to her at bedtime. Tonight she interrupted me midway to remind me: “Helmets off.”
There’s not much more satisfying than watching the World Junior Canadian hockey team bounce back from a 3-0 first-period deficit to beat team USA 7-4 in the World Junior Hockey Championships. Not much other than seeing it live!
