Hazel is on the cusp of weighing 40 lbs and this is a big milestone for her as she’s eagerly anticipating being in a booster seat in the car instead of her child’s seat. Of course we are using this to our advantage and getting her to finish her plate at mealtimes.
It’s also made for some interesting weight scale discussions as she checks herself every morning and fluctuates between 39.2 and 39.8 lbs but never quite at the magical 40 lb mark:
Hazel: Daddy – did you know if you want to weigh more you have to stand like this? (Hazel pushing hard with her feet toward the back of the scale)
